Thank you for supporting Sleapy's Foundation by creating a fundraising page through our online fundraising platform.
By registering and creating a fundraising page, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility
You confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age or have the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
- The information you provide is accurate and complete.
- You will comply with all applicable Australian laws and regulations.
2. Your Fundraising Activity
You may undertake a personal fundraising activity, challenge, event or campaign in support of Sleapy's Foundation.
You are responsible for planning, organising and conducting your fundraising activity.
Your activity must align with the values and reputation of Sleapy's Foundation.
3. Fundraising Approval
Registration of a fundraising page does not constitute endorsement or approval of a specific event, activity or fundraising method.
Sleapy's Foundation reserves the right to decline, suspend or remove any fundraising page or activity that may:
- Pose an unacceptable risk to participants
- Damage the reputation of the charity
- Conflict with our mission and values
- Breach these Terms and Conditions
- Be unlawful or misleading
4. Safety and Insurance
You acknowledge that:
- You participate in fundraising activities at your own risk.
- Sleapy's Foundation is not responsible for the management, operation or safety of your activity.
- Any required permits, licences, approvals or insurance are your responsibility.
- You must take reasonable steps to ensure the safety of participants and attendees.
5. Use of the Charity Name and Logo
You may state that you are fundraising in support of Sleapy's Foundation.
You must not:
- Represent yourself as an employee, volunteer or authorised representative of Sleapy's Foundation
- Enter into agreements on behalf of Sleapy's Foundation
- Use the charity's logo or branding without prior written approval
- Suggest that Sleapy's Foundation has organised, endorsed or insured your event unless expressly agreed
6. Donations and Funds Raised
All donations made through your fundraising page are donations to Sleapy's Foundation.
Funds raised will be used to support the charitable purposes and activities of the organisation.
Donations are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
Tax-deductible receipts will be issued where eligible and in accordance with Australian taxation requirements.
7. Content Standards
You agree that any photos, videos, stories, comments or other content uploaded to your fundraising page will:
- Be respectful and lawful
- Not infringe copyright, privacy or intellectual property rights
- Not be misleading, offensive, discriminatory or defamatory
Sleapy's Foundation may remove content that is considered inappropriate or inconsistent with these terms.
8. Privacy
Personal information collected through the fundraising platform will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By registering, you consent to Sleapy's Foundation contacting you regarding your fundraising activity and supporter communications.
9. Media and Promotion
By creating a fundraising page, you grant Sleapy's Foundation permission to share or promote publicly available fundraising content, including your name, fundraising story, page title and images, for the purpose of promoting fundraising activities and recognising supporter achievements.
You may request removal of content by contacting us.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sleapy's Foundation will not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, cost or expense arising from or connected with your fundraising activity.
11. Changes to These Terms
Sleapy's Foundation may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any updated version will be published on our website or fundraising platform.
